The purpose of this renovation was to restore the timeless elegance to the main floor of this Art Deco house.

The Layout was not altered, as it corresponded well to the family's living habits.

Soft, light colors in addition to warm, noble materials were chosen to accentuate the room's superb luminosity. The sleek oak bookcase combined with colorful art books with create a warm atmosphere. A wool rug with a graphic black pattern adds a welcome contemporary touch.

On the walls, we added some wainscotting, painted to match the luminous white of the walls. They magnify the main room. The dining room continues with this simple, unostentatious chic, lightly accented with an oversized feature light fixture above the dining room. 

This family retreat, nestled in a green setting, has recovered its original architectural codes while modernizing its aesthetics.
